SameRoomSpirit -Wiki supports evaluation, especially in cases where all important aspects have been taken into account during various phases of the globally distributed project. Further, SameRoomSpirit -Wiki can also be used as a checklist to ensure that every important topic of the global software development (GSD) is taken care of. At the same time the SameRoomSpirit -Wiki provides access to relevant solutions about GSD and experiences of their use.

This SameRoomSpirit -Wiki is based on the Collaboration Handbook that has been developed under the ITEA Merlin project during the 2004-2007. The development work has continued in ITEA Prisma project, and the Wiki will be one of the main outputs of Prisma -project. The developers of the Handbook are professionals working in electronic industry, universities and research organisations.
